Role description
Role: Azure Architect
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
• Architect intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions using: Azure AI Document Intelligence (Custom & Prebuilt models), OCR pipelines and Layout extraction
• Design solutions for Large-scale PDF ingestion (10K–100K+ documents), Structured & unstructured data extraction and Claims, invoices, contracts, healthcare documents.
• Implement confidence scoring, validation workflows, and exception handling.
• Optimize AI usage costs and performance.
• Integrate Document Intelligence with: Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, Azure Blob Storage, Cosmos DB / SQL Database
• Design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory - Build metadata-driven ingestion frameworks.
• Integrate ADF with: Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
• Implement secure API integrations.
• Design event-driven and microservices-based architectures.
• Enable real-time and batch processing solutions.
• Implement RBAC, Managed Identities, and Key Vault integration.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies.
• Implement monitoring using Azure Monitor & Log Analytics.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
Required Skills:
• 8+ years in cloud architecture
• 5+ years hands-on Azure experience
• Strong expertise in:
• Microsoft Azure
• Azure AI Document Intelligence
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Data Lake Storage
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience designing high-volume document ingestion pipelines.
• Experience processing large PDF/image datasets.
• Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or .NET.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Azure AI Engineer Associate (preferred)
• Event-driven architecture
