Cloud Data Engineer

Contract Cloud Data Engineers – Midlands | £650–£750 per day | 6 Months+ 2 days per week onsite We’re supporting a major UK organisation with the urgent hire of three experienced Cloud Data Engineers for an immediate project within a large-scale data and technology environment. These are hands-on engineering roles suited to people who can take genuine ownership of solutions- not simply work within an established platform. You’ll be designing, building and supporting scalable data solutions while working closely with technical teams and business/front-office stakeholders. What we’re looking for: • Strong hands-on Python and SQL • Proven experience designing, building and supporting data platforms and pipelines • Ability to clearly demonstrate what you personally owned and delivered • Experience working with business or front-office stakeholders • Strong technical judgement – comfortable challenging approaches and explaining your technology decisions • AWS and Snowflake experience highly desirable • Experience within large or complex organisations beneficial • Asset Management / Financial Services experience is useful Location: Birmingham or Telford – ideally 2 days per week onsite Rate: £650–£750 per day Duration: 6 months initially, with potential extension Start: ASAP / early September We’re moving quickly and expect interviews to take place imminently.
