Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) Hybrid | Leicester - £c550 per day - Outside ir35 We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to help shape and scale cloud infrastructure for a growing tech team. This is a hands-on role with strategic impact — working across engineering, data, and DevOps to deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions. What you’ll be doing: • Designing and managing Azure infrastructure (VMs, App Services, Networking, Storage). • Automating deployments with Terraform and managing CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps. • Supporting Databricks and other Azure-native data platforms. • Deploying and scaling containerised workloads with AKS and Helm. • Implementing secure API management and IAM policies (Auth-0, RBAC). • Monitoring performance and optimising costs using Azure-native and third-party tools. What we’re looking for: • Proven experience in Azure cloud engineering and infrastructure automation. • Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm, and API management. • Experience supporting data platforms (Databricks, dbt, Snowflake). • Comfortable working in Agile teams and collaborating with stakeholders. • Certifications like Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Terraform Associate are a plus.
