Hello, Immediate Position Open for Lead Full Stack Cloud Engineer (GCP Expert) - Remote This is not a generalist cloud role. We need a "Working Lead" who is a subject matter expert in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. Specifically, they must be able to own the app layer, the data layer (BigQuery), and the AI layer (VertexAI). Experience with people management and 24/7 Level 3 incident support is required. Job Title: Lead Full Stack Cloud Engineer (GCP Expert) Role Overview: We are seeking a high-caliber Full Stack Engineer with deep, expert-level experience in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. This is a "working lead" position responsible for the end-to-end delivery of quality services, from initial design and infrastructure setup to data modeling and AI integration. You will serve as a technical authority, overseeing a team of engineers while maintaining accountability for high-level incident management and system health. Core Responsibilities: • Full Stack Development: Design, build, and deploy complex applications specifically tailored for GCP. • Data & AI Ownership: Direct hands-on work with BigQuery (analytics, data modeling, performance) and VertexAI (model deployment, pipelines, and integrations). • Infrastructure & CI/CD: Take full ownership of the GCP infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines. • Incident Management: Hold overall accountability for 24/7 Level 3 incident and problem management support. • Technical Leadership: Supervise technical staff, manage career development/performance, and oversee departmental budgeting and project schedules. • Strategy & Standards: Ensure all operational designs align with firm standards; recommend upgrades and enhancements to maintain technological currency. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Expert GCP Knowledge: Proven track record of owning full-stack delivery on GCP (Infra, CI/CD, App, and Data layers). • BigQuery Expertise: Deep experience in data modeling and performance tuning for large-scale analytics. • VertexAI Experience: Practical experience with AI model deployment and machine learning pipelines. • Leadership Experience: Prior experience in people management, resource prioritization, and budget development. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (Master’s preferred) or equivalent professional experience. • Methodology: Familiarity with ITIL processes and high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
