Cloud Engineer

Location: Vancouver, WA Hybrid Work Model: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote Duration: 6 month contract to hire Estimated Pay Rate: 60-70/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience level, and education. Required Skills & Experience • 4-5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering with Azure and general cloud concepts • 4+ years of Multi Region Azure Cloud experience, understanding how to do a multi region set up and configured, data replications, and file mechanisms. Experience with Networking or edge configurations. • 3-4+ years of experience with containerization with Kubernetes, understanding of helm, how to configure, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes. • 3+ years of professional experience with Azure: Azure CLI, Azure Compute, Azure Well Architected Framework • Experience with Azure to design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions including: virtual machines instances, storage accounts, virtual networks, Azure AD, O365, etc. Experience with scripting with PowerShell, Azure CLI or similar Nice to Have Skills & Experience Microsoft Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Expert Experience with an Azure Migration Identity and Access Management Entra ID experience Understanding of AKS clusters, configurations Job Description A client is looking for a Senior Azure Engineer to join their team. This role would be 6-month contract, possible hire, and we are looking for someone with a strong Infrastructure Engineer who has strong expertise within Azure. In this role you will help this organization with their transformation moving their on prem data centers into Azure. In this role you are going to be doing IAC using Terraform, Building, Validating, Ensuring everything is aligned, building new environments with compute and networking. In addition, you will also work cross functionally with the DevOps team in this organization as far as deployments, pipelines, and best practices. In addition, other areas you will contribute to would be Architectural Diagrams, SOPs, collaboration with developers to help with the transformation from on prem to Azure.
