Cloud Engineer (Java, AWS Batch, Kafka)

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Engineer (Java, AWS Batch, Kafka) in Westlake, TX. In this role, you will craft and improve microservices, event-driven solutions, and AWS Batch applications. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field • 5+ years of experience working with Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS services • You have the expertise and experience in crafting and improving microservices, event-driven solutions, and AWS Batch applications • You are experienced with a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks • You have hands-on experience building software solutions for business critical; The teams you have worked with have multi-functional responsibilities such as engineering, quality, DevOps and release implementation • Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in meaningful discussions with partners across different roles and different skillsets • You have a passion for technology and can stay on top of newest technology trends The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
