Cloud Engineer

Note: CANDIDATES SHOULD BE PREPARED TO WORK IN-PERSON/ON-SITE IN WASHINGTON DC. AIM Technical Group (AIM) is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to execute the technical migration of complex application components to the Azure Cloud. You will work hands-on to configure IaaS/PaaS environments, ensuring the new infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and optimized for performance. Key Responsibilities: Azure Implementation: Configure and deploy Azure commercial infrastructure components to support .NET Core applications. Migration Execution: Execute the "lift and shift" or refactoring of legacy components from on-premise servers to the cloud. Infrastructure as Code: Utilize automation tools to manage cloud resources and ensure consistent environment replication (Dev/Test/Prod). Integration: Work with developers to integrate new cloud-native features with existing legacy data stores and services. Mandatory Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering. Experience: Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in application modernization, cloud architecture, cloud application development, and migrations. Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required for Public Trust Clearance.
