Role description
6 Month contract with extensions Pay Rate: $65-$80/hr Required Skills & Experience -Proven experience designing and validating cloud architectures in enterprise environments -Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and patterns - Strong background working with large, high traffic distributed systems -Hands-on experience with Java and microservices -Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills -Experience working in collaborative, fast-paced engineering environments - Must have experience with GCP/Cloud migration projects - strong understanding of CI/CD background Nice to Have Skills & Experience -GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification Job Description We’re looking for hands-on Cloud Architects with deep expertise in GCP and enterprise cloud architecture. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams, drive architectural decisions, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the migration process. Key Responsibilities -Design and validate enterprise-grade cloud architectures on GCP -Collaborate with PayPal engineering teams to socialize and align on architectural decisions -Document architecture and ensure governance compliance Lead technical solution reviews and validations -Engage cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption -Apply cloud migration best practices and patterns -Contribute hands-on to Java and microservices development as needed
