Role: Google Engineer – Terraform Specialist Job- 4636 Location: Remote Duration: 6–12 months, with a strong possibility of full-time conversion Compensation: Commensurate with experience Wage: Up to $80 an hour Capstone IT is helping our client to find a Google Cloud Engineer (Mid-Senior Level) to join a collaborative and cloud-forward team. This remote (U.S.-based) role is with a well-known and respected brand that fosters a values-oriented culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. As a Google Cloud Engineer, you will work hands-on with GCP services, using Terraform to automate infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating across teams to maintain and improve cloud environments. You’ll focus on operational excellence, automation, and cloud performance in a scalable, enterprise-grade infrastructure. Top 4 Skills: • Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) • Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL) • CI/CD Tools (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI) • Scripting (Python or Bash) Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure. • Automate infrastructure using Terraform. • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines. • Monitor cloud performance and manage costs. • Collaborate with development and data teams for integration and support. • Maintain documentation of configurations and standards. Qualifications: • 5–7 years of IT experience, with 2–3 years in GCP-focused roles. • Strong hands-on Terraform and scripting experience. • Experience with CI/CD tools, GKE, and cloud operations. • Working knowledge of GCP networking, IAM, and security. • Google Cloud Certification preferred (Associate or Professional).
