Role description
Our Rochester, NY client is looking to hire a remote Cloud Engineer.
This is a fully-remote/part-time/3-month contract position
Hourly range based on experience: Up to $55/HR
Primary Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using AWS (Lambda, SQS/SNS, Redshift, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS).
• Leverage GCP services (Cloud Functions, BigQuery, BigTable) where applicable to support hybrid/multi-cloud solutions.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Build and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write backend services and automation tools in Python, Go, Scala, and Java.
• Design, implement, and optimize data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
