Ensure cloud cost governance is embedded into early-stage architecture intake and design processes.
✔️Cost Optimization & Value Realization: Lead proactive optimization initiatives across cloud environments, including infrastructure rightsizing, right-typing of compute/storage services, identifying idle resources, and optimizing savings instruments (Commitments, Reservations, Savings Plans).
✔️Cost Transparency & Reporting: Build and maintain clear cloud cost metrics and PowerBI dashboards. Translate massive datasets into executive-ready insights regarding spend trends, anomalies, and portfolio-level efficiency indicators.
✔️Advisory & Enablement: Act as a dedicated FinOps advisor to engineering pods during intake, migration, and ongoing production phases. Conduct office hours, develop training materials, and cultivate a cost-aware engineering culture.
