CloudOps Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a CloudOps Engineer (Automation) to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure with an automation-first mindset. In this role, you will eliminate manual processes by building self-healing systems, robust CI/CD pipelines, and highly scalable cloud environments that support rapid and reliable software delivery. Key Responsibilities 1. Infrastructure & Automation - Architect and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep - Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for zero-touch deployments - Implement configuration management using Ansible or Chef 1. Cloud Operations & Scalability - Manage and scale workloads using Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) and Docker - Monitor performance and implement automated scaling strategies - Drive cost optimization through reporting, resource scheduling, and governance 1. Reliability & Security - Build and maintain observability systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana) - Participate in incident response, on-call rotations, and postmortems - Implement DevSecOps practices, including SAST/DAST and IAM guardrails Technical Qualifications - Cloud Platforms: 3+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP - Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Go, or advanced Bash scripting - Infrastructure as Code: Expert-level experience with Terraform and Git workflows Nice to Have - Experience with multi-cloud environments - Hands-on exposure to container security and policy enforcement - Familiarity with self-healing systems and automation frameworks What We’re Looking For - Strong automation-first mindset - Passion for eliminating manual toil and improving system reliability - Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments
