Collibra Data Governance Consultant Location: Remote Duration: 6 months to start. REQUIRED SKILLS: • Drive the planning and execution of Data/BI governance initiatives, tasks, and deliverables. • Drive timely completion of governance activities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. • Proactively identify and resolve issues, mitigating risks before they impact deliverables. • Escalate blockers promptly to appropriate forums for resolution. • Coach and mentor team members on data governance principles, practices, policies, standards, and deliverables. • Drive metadata curation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality within the business glossary. • Collect, develop, and implement Data Quality (DQ) rules • Ensure semantic alignment of technical metadata (e.g., column names, data types, lineage, physical storage attributes) with enterprise data domains, preserving business meaning across all abstraction layers. • Apply governance standards consistently to all work efforts. • Communicate effectively to drive collaboration, promote governance adoption, and showcase program success REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience. • Minimum 8 years of experience in data governance and data management implementations. • Proven experience leading data governance, data management, data quality, and data stewardship collaboration. • Solid communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Strong understanding of DAMA/DMBOK framework. • Familiarity with data modeling • Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Governance and Collibra Data Quality tools is a huge plus. • Prior experience in Delivering Data governance work in an Agile setup is a huge plus.
