Job Summary for Collibra DQ Developer – McLean, VA - Onsite Interview is Required.
• Serve as the primary developer for Collibra Data Quality (CDQ) implementations across multiple business domains.
• Design, build, and deploy data quality rules, validations, scoring logic, match patterns, and monitoring pipelines in Collibra DQ.
• Translate data quality dimensions (completeness, accuracy, validity, timeliness, consistency) into actionable CDQ logic and scoring frameworks.
• Configure and optimize CDQ dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, metrics, and alerting to ensure data quality is measurable and visible.
• Implement end-to-end data profiling, exception handling, automated monitoring, and issue management within CDQ.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Stewards, Data Owners, DB Engineers, and Governance Analysts to translate business requirements into technical DQ solutions.
• Develop reusable rule libraries, templates, and standards for scalable, consistent DQ rule deployment.
• Integrate Collibra DQ with enterprise data platforms, metadata systems, and governance tools to ensure connected data lineage and quality assurance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, runbooks, and user training materials.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to governance, data engineering, and analytics teams; explain DQ results and exceptions to business users in non-technical terms.
• Optionally leverage other tools such as Informatica Cloud DQ in conjunction with CDQ for complementary use cases.
• Preferred experience in regulated industries and familiarity with broader Collibra ecosystem components (Catalog, Governance Center, Workflow, Lineage) and metadata-driven testing.
