Job Description: Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer Location: Pleasanton, CA Employment Type: W2 Contract Experience Level: 8+ years Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to join our team in Pleasanton, CA. You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance B2C e-commerce solutions. This role requires a developer who is comfortable working onsite and possesses a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem to deliver seamless digital shopping experiences. Key Responsibilities • Full-Stack Development: Design and implement robust e-commerce features using SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture), Controllers, Scripts, and ISML templates. • Customization: Develop and maintain custom cartridges, third-party integrations (OMS, Payment Gateways, CRM), and localized site features. • API Management: Utilize OCAPI and Headless Commerce architectures to connect Salesforce with external systems and mobile applications. • Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to site speed, scalability, and code efficiency. • Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts and Architects to translate requirements into technical specifications within an Agile environment. Required Qualifications • Certification: Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer is mandatory. • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in server-side and client-side JavaScript, Node.js, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3. • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware). • Architecture: Solid understanding of MVC design patterns and SFCC platform architecture. • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills • Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC). • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. • Prior experience in the Retail or Finance sector.
