Commercial Analyst

Commercial BI Analyst / Reporting / Business Intelligence / Data Analyst / Power BI / SQL Role: Commercial BI Analyst Duration: 6 months Location: Watford, Hybrid Rate: up to 600 p/d IR35: Outside We're looking for an experienced Commercial BI Analyst to build and develop a commercial intelligence platform that brings together financial, operational, and project data into a single, trusted source of truth. This is an opportunity to shape the future of commercial reporting and analytics within a growing business. The Role You'll be responsible for integrating multiple business systems and data sources, automating reporting, and delivering meaningful insights through intuitive dashboards. Working closely with commercial and finance teams, you'll help transform data into actionable intelligence that supports better decision-making. What You'll Be Doing • Integrate data from finance, operational, and spreadsheet-based systems. • Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards. • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Develop project-level commercial reporting and forecasting. • Build and maintain robust data pipelines. • Support AI-driven analysis and insight generation. • Create executive-level dashboards that provide clear visibility of business performance. What We're Looking For Essential: • 5+ years' experience in data, business intelligence, or commercial analysis. • Strong SQL skills. • Advanced Power BI and Excel experience. • Experience with APIs, ETL processes, and data modelling. • Ability to translate complex data into clear commercial insights.
