We are seeking a highly motivated Computational Biologist / Data Scientist to join a cutting-edge Translational Neuroscience Analytics team within a leading global biopharmaceutical company. 📍 Location: Cambridge, MA (Onsite / Hybrid) 📅 Duration: 1-year contract (possible extension) 💰 Pay Rate: $62 – $72/hr (W2) About the Role In this role, you’ll apply bioinformatics, systems biology, and machine learning to multi-omics datasets — including single-cell and spatial data — to uncover new drug targets and biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases. You’ll work alongside a world-class team of data scientists, computational biologists, and experimental researchers who are driving innovation in neuroscience drug discovery. You’ll have the opportunity to: • Lead and execute computational analysis and data integration across genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and other omics platforms. • Apply AI/ML-driven analytics to human genetics and functional genomics datasets. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform all stages of the neuroscience pipeline — from early discovery to translational applications. • Stay on the cutting edge of bioinformatics research, implementing emerging tools and methodologies. • Communicate impactful results across diverse scientific and strategic audiences. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications: 🎓 Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience — or — 🎓 M.S. in related field with 5+ years of relevant experience Technical Expertise: • Strong background in bioinformatics, multi-omics analysis, and machine learning • Hands-on experience analyzing multi-modal and single-cell molecular profiles • Proficiency in Python and/or R, with experience using HPC or cloud environments • Familiarity with public biological data repositories and version control systems (Git) • Proven publication record and ability to work both independently and collaboratively • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Why Join?
