β’ Perform statistical analysis and data visualization to support the interpretation of results.
β’ Maintain well-documented, reproducible workflows and adhere to best practices (e.g., version control, pipeline documentation).
β’ Participate in cross-functional collaborations and knowledge sharing across teams.
EXPERIENCE
β’ 5+ years of relevant experience in computational biology, data science, bioinformatics, or related field.
β’ Demonstrated expertise in Python programming and scientific computing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, OpenCV).
β’ Strong experience in computer vision and image analysis, including both classical and machine learning approaches.
β’ Hands-on experience with whole-slide image (WSI) processing using tools such as OpenSlide or similar.
β’ Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development environments.
Preferred:
β’ Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras; Detectron2 a plus).
β’ Experience in digital pathology platforms (HALO, Visiopharm, QuPath).
β’ Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and job schedulers (e.g., SLURM).
β’ Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).
β’ Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS).
β’ Experience building lightweight GUI tools for research workflows.
β’ Background in tumor pathology, histopathology, or immunology.
EDUCATION
β’ Masterβs or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline required.
