Job Title: CAX Administrator – EV Battery Systems Experience: 5–8 Years Domain: EV / Battery / Automotive --- Role Overview Experienced CAX Administrator to manage and support engineering tool environments that enable high-quality design and product development for EV battery systems. The role involves maintaining CAD/CAE/CAM tools, PLM systems, licenses, and templates, ensuring smooth operations for mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineering teams. --- Key Responsibilities · Administer, maintain, and support CAD/CAE/CAM tools (e.g., CATIA V5/V6/3DX) · Manage PLM systems (3D experience), including user access, permissions, and data integrity · Handle software installations, updates, licenses, and patches · Create and maintain templates, macros, standards, and configured libraries · Provide technical support and troubleshooting for engineering users · Support data management, version control, and change workflows · Assist in upgrades, migrations, and system integrations · Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure tool performance and reliability --- Mandatory Skills & Qualifications · B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, IT, or related field · 5–8 years of experience as a CAD/CAE/PLM/CAX Administrator · Good Knowledge about CATIA V5/V6/3DX or equivalent CAD tools · Experience with PLM systems and software license management · Good understanding of engineering workflows and data management --- Preferred Skills · Scripting knowledge (Python, VB, or similar) · Experience supporting automotive engineering teams · Familiarity with high-volume product development environments
