Trident Consulting is seeking a "Connex Developer" for one of our clients in "Houston, TX - Hybrid" A global leader in business and technology services. Role: Connex Developer Location: Houston, TX - Hybrid Type: Contract Rate: $70-75/Hr Must Have's: • Extensive hands-on experience with Connex switch, transaction processing & their associated component • Expertise in TAL, COBOL, S-COBOL, and TACL programming languages. Experience in using the Tandem utilities like FUP, Enscribe, Enform, Bind/XLD, SQL, DDL, INSPECT, Netbatch, Spooler, Peruse, Pathway concepts, • Experience with Connex knowledge on PI, TH, CH, PMC, CED, SMONINQY, CMSUTIL, NMI, EMS, Prognosis 3. Essential Skills: • Expertise in Connex Environmental Database(CED) • Expert in Enscribe Database and Enform • Expertise on ATM & POS functionality, Transaction Switching and EMV • Understanding of Connex source codes, application debugging and problem resolution • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills ATM, POS, Schemes In-depth knowledge of any Switching application (Connex Preferred) • Understanding of TAL, COBOL, S-COBOL and TACL • Strong communication skills Responsibilities: • Should have good understanding on Connex application architecture and design • Excellent development and troubleshooting skills • Good team player • Ensure the availability of the environment during SIT, UAT ,CERT • Debug and fix system failure errors Run the Install Plans • Review and test the install plan • Rebuild of environments • Ensure environment related issues are addressed on time Trident Consulting is a premier IT staffing firm providing high-impact workforce solutions to Fortune 500 and mid-market clients.
