Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Consumer Insights Analyst for our client, a large enterprise organization seeking to strengthen its research and analytics capabilities. In this position, you will support a high-performing insights function responsible for delivering actionable consumer intelligence across multiple business units. The Consumer Insights Analyst will play a critical role in designing, executing, and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative research to inform marketing, product, and customer experience strategies.
Responsibilities:
β’ Conduct end-to-end market research projects, including surveys, focus groups, and customer sentiment analysis.
β’ Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify consumer trends, behavioral patterns, and market opportunities.
β’ Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to communicate insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
β’ Design and evaluate survey instruments, discussion guides, and research methodologies aligned to business objectives.
β’ Synthesize data from multiple sources, including syndicated research, primary studies, and behavioral datasets.
β’ Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to support decision-making and initiative planning.
β’ Manage relationships with external research vendors and ensure quality control of deliverables.
β’ Review and validate analytical outputs before executive-level presentations.
β’ Provide guidance and support to junior analysts on research execution and analytical methods.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field required.
β’ 5β8+ years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or data analytics roles.
β’ Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as SPSS, SAS, R, or Python.
β’ Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, modeling, and data visualization.
β’ Hands-on experience with survey platforms and research programming tools.
β’ Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
β’ Proven experience managing full-cycle quantitative and qualitative research projects.
β’ Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into structured business insights.
β’ Experience working with syndicated research sources and large-scale consumer datasets.
β’ Strong background in questionnaire design, sampling methodologies, and research validation techniques.
