Role description
At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 β 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 β 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
Role
Responsible for ensuring business requirements for Connected Services My Honda+ are clearly defined and validated. This involves working in an agile approach with HM Global, business users, development partners and other stakeholders to ensure processes & functionality are clearly defined and agreed.
You will also be responsible for supporting the business in analysing all interfaces, documenting the business requirements and producing a detailed Business /Functional Requirements tracker.
Project Responsibilities
Support Hondaβs GC5.0 MyHonda+
β’ Support the creation and maintenance of a high-level end-to-end process flow covering the BEV sales online prospect journey and subsequent interactions with systems supporting the finance provider, order management, accounting, logistics, and dealer processes.
β’ Become an SME for the end-to-process to understand at a high level the functionality and features being developed and tested.
β’ Identify key use cases to SIT and UAT test followed by ongoing regression testing. Identify sensitive points in the process that may require extra negative/edge case coverage to mitigate business critical impacts from a system deficiency.
β’ Coordinate with multiple 3rd party suppliers to triage and track resolution of defects found.
β’ Coordinate the creation of test cases with support from SMEs from within the organisation.
β’ Produce additional use cases to cover gaps in testing as appropriate.
β’ Execute specific test cases covering user functionality and interfaces to supplement the overall testing and identify issues early as components become available to test.
β’ Competent and familiar with working within an agile environment to meeting challenging timescales.
β’ Proficient use of collaborative working tools such as Jira (must have), Confluence, X-ray (nice to have), SharePoint.
β’ Work within the Connected Services team to support workstream leads, other BAs, project managers, the test manager.
β’ Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate issues identified, relate them to business priorities, and provide solution options as needed.
Role Responsibilities
This role deals with the more detailed aspects of discovering, validating, documenting and communicating business-process-related knowledge through modelling, simulating and analysing current and future states.
β’ Engage business users and stakeholders in understanding business issues and priorities.
β’ Define & document business process flows in a format that can be easily communicated (e.g. ppt) and validated by key stakeholders.
β’ Gather & document business requirements or functional specifications using user stories (user journeys) and other analysis & documentation techniques (UX).
β’ Work together with a project manager and/or solution architect to review and validate analysis documentation & technical solution approach in line with business requirements.
β’ Work together with 3rd Parties (Arlanis) to document the business flows to aid their development activities.
β’ Develop and organise User Acceptance Tests (UAT) with business users.
β’ Support business change by defining procedures and implementing change management strategies including engagement plans, organising/delivering user training, etc.
β’ Coordinate change management activities and communicate/report progress to key stakeholders.
β’ Monitor & report project issues and risks where necessary to ensure effective countermeasures are implemented.
β’ Other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills And Experiences
This is a key role in Hondaβs transition so demonstrated success in a similar role is essential. That will include:
β’ Strong experience of implementing digital mobile & web solutions based on cloud based solutions, e.g. digital marketing (content management), CRM or mobile platforms.
β’ Demonstratable experience of delivering digital projects based on innovative and creative multi-channel user experience (UX) β mobile app & online portals.
β’ Very good experience of change management & stakeholder engagement while implementing European or Global projects - understanding cultural differences & business priorities.
β’ Strong experience in business analysis & process change, ideally within a sales and marketing environment for Automotive or Retail Sectors or with a Consultancy practice.
β’ Demonstrable knowledge and experience in analysing and documenting business processes and data flows together with capturing user requirements as user stories or use journeys.
β’ Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in a concise and non-technical manner to business users.
β’ Must be able to communicate effectively with both IT and business helping establish mutual understanding.
β’ Excellent organisation and planning skills with ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders including 3rd party agencies.
β’ Good understanding of analysis & project management methodologies preferably with practical experience of structured and/or agile methods.
β’ Ability to solve complex problems in a timely manner (with attention to detail and sound judgement)
