β’ GTS Space is working with a company who operate at the forefront of advanced engineering and technology programmes across highly regulated environments. They are currently looking to engage a Senior Data & Analytics Lead on a contract basis to support a critical phase of their digital transformation.
This is an urgent requirement, offering the opportunity to take ownership of data strategy, reporting frameworks and emerging AI capabilities within a complex, multi-system environment.
The role
You will act as the central point for data architecture, reporting and analytics, helping to bring structure, governance and scalability to how data is used across the organisation.
Working across multiple teams, you will play a key role in shaping how data is modelled, consumed and leveraged to drive operational and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities
β’ Define and implement scalable data models and reporting structures to support business-wide analytics
β’ Establish and promote a single, consistent view of data across multiple systems
β’ Lead the design and delivery of interactive dashboards and reporting solutions
β’ Work with internal stakeholders to improve data quality, governance and control frameworks
β’ Identify opportunities to enhance processes through automation and intelligent data solutions
β’ Support the adoption of AI-driven tools and capabilities to improve insight generation
β’ Act as a technical point of contact for data-related initiatives across the business
β’ Collaborate with external partners to guide architecture, tooling and best practice
What weβre looking for
β’ Strong experience delivering data and reporting solutions in a complex environment
β’ Advanced capability with Power BI or similar BI tools, including data modelling and visualisation
β’ Solid understanding of data structures, governance and transformation processes
β’ Experience working with SQL and structured data environments
β’ Exposure to AI, automation or advanced analytics tools
β’ Comfortable working across both technical and business-facing stakeholders
β’ Proven ability to bring clarity and structure to fragmented or evolving data environments

β’ Able to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused contract environment
β’ Eligible for security clearance
β’ Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with occasional site presence
