We are looking for a Contracting Analytics Partner to join us in our Market Access & Pricing team based out of our US headquarters in Atlanta, GA (hybrid, 2 days per week onsite)
About The Role
The Commercial Contracting Analytics Partner will be a Subject Matter Expert liaison to support the organization by providing in-depth knowledge and consultative approach to pricing and managed markets analysis, insights, and business drivers. The Partner will assist in the development of managed care contract forecasts, develop and leverage contract performance assessments, and participate in contract review. Most importantly they will participate in ideation, strategy, review, and negotiations in preparation for Pre-deal and Post-deal Payer account reviews.
Who You’ll Work With
This individual will work closely with their counterparts in Market Access Account Management, Market Access Marketing & Strategy, and the Patient Value Units (PVU). Additionally, as a ‘Single Point of Contact’ for Key Accounts, they will establish relationships with key business stakeholders to understand the issues faced by specific assigned Pharmacy Benefit Manager and investigate creative and compliant contracting solutions, leveraging information and analytics, to meet their need.
What You’ll Do
• Provide leadership and accountability across critical Market Access Analytical Processes, including:
• Partner with Managed Markets field team to identify ideal contracting options and alternative contracting options.
• Serve as ‘Single Point of Contact’ for Key Payer Accounts: in-depth understanding of analogs, pre-deal analysis, managed markets trends, payer market research, contract language (redline process), customer data, and post deal analysis.
• Analyze and make recommendations in partnership with Market Access colleagues regarding the continuation/termination/rebate terms of existing contracts based on profitability and contract performance.
• Develop, refine, and own financial models to support contracting decisions, including modeling and analysis of innovative contracts.
• Owns and supports the development of key deliverables and insights for stakeholders across the organization i.e. Market insights, Pricing analysis, Patient journey, Post-deal analysis, etc.
• Package and present material to key stakeholders, US leadership and Global executives (Patient Value Heads, US Pricing Committee, and Global Pricing Committee).
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
• 5+ years of demonstrated success in analysis, reporting, forecasting, actuary, and modeling with the ability to apply analysis to strategic evaluations of contracting strategy and pricing decisions
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical experience in Managed Care or Operations
• Proven success in developing, implementing, and interpreting advanced analytical models in a commercial setting
• Comprehensive understanding of Biopharmaceutical data sources and the ability to leverage data in complex analytical models, including a comprehensive understanding of anonymous patient-level data and claims data preferred
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Business Intelligence (BI) super-user. (R, Python, Qliksense are not required but are a plus)
This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $136,000-179,000. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
