About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior System Validation Engineer to join a cutting-edge engineering team working on advanced hardware platforms and enterprise-scale systems. This role involves end-to-end system validation, deep platform-level debugging, and performance optimization across multiple operating environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead system validation and hardware design validation efforts for complex platforms
• Develop, validate, and optimize workload applications across Linux, Windows, VMware, and Microsoft Azure
• Perform board and platform-level debugging, including sequencing, delivery, and root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to drive validation strategies and execution
• Analyze system architecture and implement robust debugging and validation methodologies
• Independently own tasks and drive issues to resolution
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in System Validation and Hardware Design Validation
• Strong understanding of system and core architecture (core validation experience is a plus)
• 5+ years of programming experience in C/C++
• Scripting proficiency in Perl, Ruby, and Python
• Advanced debugging skills and hands-on experience with complex system issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
Preferred Skills
• Experience with software programming and tool management
• Familiarity with OS-based workloads and benchmarking
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment
Work Location
• Hybrid role in Austin, TX (3+ days onsite per week)
