For more information, visit SolomonEdwards Position Summary: We are seeking a Corporate Reporting Analyst to join a leading global financial institution with operations across North America and international markets. This role will support financial reporting automation, data strategy initiatives, and process improvements within a high-visibility finance and accounting function. This is a hybrid role working on-site 4 days/week in Washington, DC. Essential Duties: • Support automation initiatives across financial reporting workflows. • Analyze and transform financial data using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI. • Develop data strategies to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data integrity. • Assist with monthly close processes and reporting deliverables. • Contribute to AI, machine learning, and data optimization projects. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting enhancements. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or a similar role. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power Query, and Power BI. • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Python, or similar tools preferred. Skills and Job-Specific Competencies: • Strong financial reporting and data analysis skills. • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools. • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, SharePoint). • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion. Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
