Role description
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Credit Risk Analyst to support its Credit Risk team. This role will focus heavily on dashboard development, reporting automation, and ad-hoc analytics, helping internal stakeholders make informed, data-driven decisions.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in data visualization and analytics tools, along with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring and ad-hoc dashboards and reports related to credit risk
• Perform data analysis across the credit lifecycle, identifying trends and potential risks
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and support risk strategy evaluation
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and reporting frameworks
• Support regulatory and audit reporting requirements with accurate and timely deliverables
• Document reporting methodologies, data dictionaries, and internal processes
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (required) in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related STEM field
• 1+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or similar roles
• Hands-on experience with:
• SQL and/or Python (technical assessment required)
• Tableau and/or Power BI for dashboard development
• Strong skills in data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and visualization
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate findings effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of credit risk concepts
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in a related analytical field
• Experience in banking, financial services, or auto finance
• Certifications in Tableau or Power BI
