Role description
Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst
Location: Plano, TX Hybrid (Every other week, two weeks a month, Mon through Thursday)
Duration: 6 Months
Description:
• RM NOTES BASED ON MY CONVERSATION WITH THE HIRING MANAGER:
o Project Overview: This project involves developing and maintaining dashboards, with the resource responsible for reporting, automating dashboards, and performing ad-hoc analytics and reporting.
o Team Support Role: The team has planned to delegate the primary managers’ workload, and the contingent worker (CW) will be responsible for supporting multiple internal teams (TFSB).
o Required Skills: The CW must have hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL and Python.
o Industry Flexibility: Industry experience is not mandatory; the hiring team is open to reviewing profiles from any industry, such as banking or finance, provided the resource meets all skill set expectations as per the hiring manager.
o Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s or higher degree in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or similar analytical/STEM field is required. Please do not submit candidates without bachelor’s degree.
o Experience level: One or more years’

o This role is responsible for producing insightful reports, dashboards, and analytics that support credit risk monitoring, strategy evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
o The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of credit risk concepts, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
What you’ll be doing:
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad-hoc credit risk reports and dashboards
• Conduct in-depth credit risk analysis across the credit lifecycle
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and identify emerging trends
• Streamline and automate reporting processes
• Document reporting methodologies and maintain data dictionaries and process guides.
• Support regulatory and audit reporting requirements with accurate and timely data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance risk frameworks and improve data quality
Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or similar analytical/STEM field
• 1-2 years’ experience in analytical roles
• Demonstrated experience in SQL or Python (this will be tested during interviews)
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
• Problem-solving skills with strengths in Data Acquisition, Manipulation, Cleaning, Analysis and Presentation of Results
• Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and evaluate potential risks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic understanding of credit risk concepts
Added bonus if you have (Preferred):
• Master’s degree in an analytical field
• Auto Finance or Banking experience
• Certification in Tableau or Power BI
