Data AI Solutions Architect

CSI Companies is seeking an experienced Data and AI Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable data and AI solutions across enterprise environments. This role sits at the intersection of data analysis solution architecture data engineering and AI enablement. This opportunity is ideal for a senior level professional who is equally comfortable working with business stakeholders analyzing complex datasets designing solutions and building AI driven capabilities. You will partner with engineering analytics and business teams to take initiatives from discovery through production while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy. Hours: Monday to Friday standard business hours Location: Remote Pay: Competitive based on experience education and credentials Position Type: Long Term Consultant Work Authorization Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and eligible for W2 employment. No sponsorship and no corp to corp arrangements are available. What you will do • Partner with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into data and AI use cases • Lead discovery sessions workshops and process walkthroughs • Profile datasets to assess quality structure and usability • Perform exploratory analysis to validate opportunities and solution direction • Design end to end solutions including data flows integrations and AI components • Evaluate solution tradeoffs and recommend architecture approaches • Design and build ETL and ELT pipelines using modern tools • Develop data models schemas and governance aligned structures • Identify opportunities to apply AI and generative AI to business workflows • Prototype and implement AI solutions including RAG agents and copilots • Ensure responsible AI practices including governance and validation • Lead delivery of initiatives from concept through adoption • Mentor team members and support best practices across documentation and quality • Collaborate with engineering teams on performance scalability and reliability What we are looking for • 7 to 12 years of experience across data analysis data engineering or analytics consulting • Strong experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and profiling • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI Tableau or Looker • Experience designing and building ETL pipelines using tools such as Airflow or dbt • Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake BigQuery Databricks Redshift or Synapse • Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS Azure or GCP • Experience designing solution architecture across data ingestion processing and consumption layers • Experience with generative AI technologies including LLMs prompt engineering and embeddings • Experience with engineering practices including version control CI CD and testing • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to translate complex problems into structured solutions • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative technical or business field or equivalent experience Nice to have • Experience with MLOps or LLMOps tools • Experience with vector databases • Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services • Familiarity with data governance frameworks or data mesh concepts • Experience in consulting or client facing environments Who Should Apply This role is ideal for a senior professional who enjoys working across data and AI disciplines and delivering scalable solutions that drive business impact.
