Role description
We are looking for a DLP Analyst.
Location: hybrid in Charlotte, NC
Summary:
Supports Data Loss Prevention and Data Security mission critical initiative to protect SMBC sensitive data. Part of the Enterprise Information Protection team reporting to the DLP Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate policy development/rule tuning within Data Loss Prevention suite of technologies. DLP Analysts will provide this individual feedback on policies and rules that are/aren't working and this individual will be responsible for ensuring that rules/policies are developed properly.
1. Responsible for working with the data analysts to create and deliver data loss metrics for reporting, and drafting playbooks/job aids for their responsibilities.
Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of Proofpoint DLP products is a must (e.g., Zenguide, Adaptive DLP (Tessian), TRAP/TAP)
1. Experience with Microsoft Purview (MIP labelling) and Island.io is a plus.
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.
1. Strong attention to detail, inquisitive, strong written and verbal communication skills is also a must.
1. Ability to work within a fast paced, and dynamic team who are results driven
1. Experience working with SNOW Incident Response systems is a plus
