Data Analyst 2
Brief Description
Nextant is looking for Data Analyst 2 to join our client team. The main function of a Data Analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work with senior management, technical and client teams to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
• Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
• Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• 2-4 years’ applicable experience required.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience with SQL.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience with Power BI.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Knowledge of the ETL process.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated history of success.
• Desire to be working with data and help businesses make better data driven decisions.
• Disqualifier: Candidates with constant job hopping, low tenure, lack of experience with large companies will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs Average: The ideal resume would be able to build dashboards; help drive conclusions and pull and drive analytics on data.

Pay Rate:
The annual salary range for this position is $102,000 - $112,000 in Washington State. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, and other market and business considerations when extending an offer.
