Data Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Data Analyst for a 8 months Contract position with a client located in Fountain Valley, CA Pay Range: $30- $40/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) About the Role • Assist in the areas of district, regional and national sales/retail analysis and planning • Provide management with data to be utilized in making well informed decisions • Ability to prepare and analyze big data sets including regional scorecards • Create user friendly reports and dashboards utilizing various systems • Streamline systems/data amalgamation process to support GMAs internal and external reporting needs Responsibilities: • Analyst will provide analytical support for sales related reporting • This position is also responsible for creating and maintaining Genesis sales daily, weekly, and monthly reports for executive review • Analyze national and regional sales transaction data and prepare executive presentations • Create database/dashboard for tracking sales performance metrics for real-time insights • Prepare slides and commentary for monthly executive governance meetings • Support field staff with reporting inquiries • Support Genesis management with Ad Hoc reporting, presentations, and tasks • Utilize SAP, Microsoft Office and Tableau to create reports and dashboards as needed • Frequent written and verbal communication across all departments • This is a support position, focused on delivering day to day tasks and analysis with a degree of autonomy while receiving general instructions and supervision. Education: • Must have a Bachelors degree. Related Experience: • One to three years of professional experience desired • Automotive experience desired • Knowledge of data, systems, and process focus. • Experience with corporate environments; direct dealer facing, and field operations experience is a plus • Experienced in developing strong, positive working relations.
