Job Type: W2 Contract
Contract Duration: 12 Months, Possible Extension
Location: New York, NY 101119
Work Schedule: Fully Onsite
Pay Rate: $75.00 - $77.00 per hour
Role Overview
Reporting into a Data Analytics & Insights team, this role partners closely with product, marketing, operations, and engineering to analyze product performance and deliver actionable, data-driven insights. The analyst will build and maintain dashboards, ensure data quality, and support analytics initiatives tied to product features and marketing campaigns.
Top 3 Required Skill Sets
• BI & Dashboarding: Advanced Tableau
• Analytics: SQL and Python-based data analytics and visualization
• Communication: Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and report on product performance on an ongoing basis
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards tracking KPIs, retention curves, funnel analysis, and growth trends
• Define, document, and maintain logging event specifications for new features
• Perform data QA and validation across pipelines and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Analyze user behavior and product performance to deliver actionable insights to product, marketing, and business stakeholders
• Support data collection and analytics implementation for new feature launches and marketing campaigns
• Conduct cohort analysis, retention modeling, and funnel optimization
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to internal teams, leadership, and external partners
Qualifications
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or a related role
• Strong proficiency in SQL; Tableau experience required
• Experience cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing medium-sized datasets
• Experience with Python or R-based data analytics and visualization tools
• Experience in TV, mobile, or web-connected application services preferred
• Prior experience supporting growth initiatives for business units or services
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
