Role description
Job Title: Data Analyst 5
Location: Hybrid – Building 17, Puget Sound, WA
Duration: 3 months (High possibility for an extension after the budget approve)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (No OT)
Pay Rate Range: $55 to $65/hr
Top 3 Skills
• Power BI Development – 8+ years (dashboard design, DAX, performance optimization).
• Data Validation & ETL Processes – 8+ years (multi-platform data integration).
• Power Apps / Power Automate (preferred) – 5+ years (workflow automation and app building).

Candidate Requirements
• Candidates with a second job will not be considered.
Preferred Qualities (Best vs. Average):
• Strong hands-on experience in Power BI dashboard development and maintenance.
• Deep understanding of data validation, ETL processes, and multi-platform data integration.
• Practical experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams and adapt to changing systems.
Job Responsibilities
• Partner with senior management, technical teams, and clients to determine data requirements and implementation strategies.
• Design, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise ETL processes.
• Write and manage logical and physical database descriptions, and direct others in database coding.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems to meet new requirements.
• Test and validate programs or databases, resolve errors, and ensure system accuracy.
• Support data-driven decision-making through insightful analysis and reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
Hard Skills:
• Expertise in Power BI (8+ years): dashboard design, DAX, and performance optimization.
• Strong background in data validation and ETL processes (8+ years): integration across multiple platforms.
• Proficiency in Power Apps / Power Automate (5+ years preferred): workflow automation and app development.
• Experience with database technologies and scripting languages.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Soft Skills:
• Detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy.
• Collaborative and adaptable to evolving business needs.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (required).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, BI development, and database management.
