Role description
We are currently recruiting a Data Analyst to work on a 3 month initial contract to assist in the collection, validation and submission of Management Information (MI) returns.
You assist with the following:
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data and produce accurate reports
• Design, develop and maintain complex monitoring systems, databases and spreadsheets using advanced Excel skills
• Produce evaluation reports, case studies and performance information
• Be the main point of contact for communications, managing enquiries and stakeholder engagement
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails
• Leading project and maintaining documentation
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
• Significant experience in data analysis, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including developing and managing complex spreadsheets and monitoring systems.
• Experience of collecting, validating, analysing and presenting performance data.
• Strong report-writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
• Experience supporting or managing projects and programme delivery.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across organisations.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of data protection/GDPR requirements.
• Experience of working within local government, public sector programmes, grant-funded initiatives, or the voluntary and community sector would be advantageous.

• £20 per hour PAYE plus holiday pay / £25 per hour via a umbrella company
