Data Analyst – Sustainability | Leading Corporate Client We’re looking for a Data Analyst with a Sustainability/Finance focus to join a leading corporate client in Chicago. If you have 1-2+ years of experience working with large datasets, Excel, and utility or financial data, this is an excellent opportunity to grow in the ESG and sustainability reporting space. What You’ll Do: • Analyze and validate utility invoice data (electric, gas, water, waste) • Perform data cleansing, normalization, and quality checks across large datasets • Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations for finance and sustainability teams • Support greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions tracking (Scope 1, 2, and utility-related Scope 3) • Ensure data accuracy, documentation, and compliance with contracts • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvements What You Bring: • 1-2+ years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or similar role • Strong experience working with large datasets and data management • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas; macros a plus) • Exposure to Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools • Strong understanding of cost analysis, reconciliation, and financial data • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills 📍 Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid) 💵 Pay: $31 – $35/hour.
