📊 Job Title: Data Analyst (Pharma / Lab Operations)
Location: Remote
Duration: 4-month contract (possible extension & potential conversion)
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (EST/CST preferred)
🧩 About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support ongoing data initiatives within a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This role focuses on data management, reporting, and operational insights, particularly related to lab equipment and asset maintenance within a pharmaceutical/life sciences setting.
You will work closely with the hiring manager and a team of analysts to transform data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
• Perform data analysis, mining, and validation to support operational decision-making
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data presentations
• Analyze data related to lab equipment maintenance, asset tracking, and performance
• Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
• Coordinate and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Assist with vendor-related data tracking and reporting
• Communicate findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including clients
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
• 4–7 years of experience in data analysis / business analysis
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data manipulation)
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation
• Ability to tell a clear story with data and present insights to non-technical audiences
• High attention to detail with a focus on data quality and accuracy
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills
➕ Nice to Have
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or lab environments
• Exposure to equipment/asset management, maintenance data, or CMMS systems
• Familiarity with tools like Smartsheet or similar reporting platforms
