Role description
Our client, a well-known music entertainment company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Data Analyst. This role is fully remote!
• This is a 2 month W2 contract with possible extension or conversion
• In this role, you’ll serve as both a data storyteller and operational anchor for the PIC team. You’ll turn people data into actionable insights that drive decision-making, while also coordinating key projects, timelines, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery across HR, DEI, and sustainability programs.
What You Will Be Doing
• Collect, clean, and analyze people data (e.g., headcount, DEI, engagement, turnover) to generate actionable insights for the PIC and HR leadership teams.
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to track KPIs and progress toward strategic goals.
• Partner with HRIS, Finance, and Sustainability teams to ensure alignment of data definitions and reporting standards.
• Conduct data audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR data across systems.
• Translate complex data findings into clear insights and storytelling that informs people strategies.
• Support the creation of executive-level presentations and visual summaries.
• Coordinate and track progress of ongoing PIC initiatives, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are communicated effectively.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and reporting for HR and ESG-related workstreams.
• Maintain project documentation, timelines, and status reports to provide visibility to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree is required
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, HR reporting, or project coordination (preferably within HR, DEI, or ESG functions).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Experience managing projects or supporting PMO functions; familiarity with tools like Smartsheet, Asana, or MS Project a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to non-technical audiences.
