Role description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join an IT team supporting a mid-sized professional services organization. This entry- to mid-level role is well suited for someone who enjoys working with data, improving data quality, and supporting business decision-making through analysis and reporting. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams, particularly around data management related to firm acquisitions and ongoing operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Data Integration & Migration
• Clean, standardize, and format data from newly acquired firms for onboarding into existing systems
• Partner with internal IT teams and acquired firm stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using SQL, Power BI, and Excel
• Translate data into clear visuals and presentations for business and leadership use
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests and provide analytical insights to internal stakeholders
Data Governance
• Maintain data quality standards and support compliance with internal policies
• Assist with developing and documenting best practices for data management
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis (professional services or accounting environments preferred)
• Experience with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools
• Experience with data cleaning and migration
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred (Not Required)
• Exposure to accounting systems or financial data
• Experience supporting at least one merger or acquisition
