Role description
Weβre seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Analyst to join a client's growing analytics team. In this role, youβll work with large datasets from multiple sources to uncover insights, support business decision-making, and contribute to data-driven strategies. Your ability to clean, mine, and analyze complex data β and communicate results clearly β will be essential to success.
HR experience is a big plus for this role!

Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze and interpret large datasets to support strategic and operational business decisions.
β’ Perform data mining and data cleansing to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
β’ Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
β’ Write and optimize complex queries using SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases including Oracle.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify analytical needs and deliver actionable insights.
β’ Work with Big Data platforms and tools to process high-volume, high-velocity data.
β’ Use Excel for advanced analysis, modeling, and reporting.
β’ Present data findings in a clear, compelling, and visual way to technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
β’ 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
β’ Proficient in SQL (including complex joins, subqueries, and optimization).
β’ Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and data extraction.
β’ Strong knowledge of Power BI (or other BI tools like Tableau, Qlik).
β’ Experience with Big Data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive) is highly desirable.
β’ Solid understanding of data mining, cleansing, and transformation techniques.
β’ Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulas.
β’ Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
β’ Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
β’ Experience with Python, R, or other data analysis tools/languages.
β’ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
β’ Background in [industry, e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.].
β’ Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
