Data Analyst β IBM Maximo Focus
Location: Houston, TX 77079

About the Role
Weβre seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our asset management team and serve as a data steward, technical advisor, and operational partner. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and usability of asset and location data within IBMβs Maximo Asset Management system.
Youβll collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to optimize asset lifecycle management, drive data-driven decisions, and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Load, validate, and maintain asset/location records in Maximo
β’ Map source data to Maximo fields and troubleshoot discrepancies
β’ Extract, clean, and analyze data to support business goals
β’ Collaborate with site teams and Maximo users for data updates
β’ Resolve Maximo-related data issues and support system upgrades
β’ Develop dashboards and reports for asset performance and compliance
Ideal Candidate Profile
β’ Experience with IBM Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
β’ Strong skills in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI
β’ Familiarity with Python for data analysis and automation
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
β’ Understanding of asset management, maintenance, and reliability principles
β’ Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or 8+ years of equivalent experience
Bonus Skills
β’ Experience with system upgrades and data migration
β’ Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
β’ Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
