Data Analyst

Overview We are seeking a Contract Engineer or Data Analyst to support the implementation of a data-driven solution within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on analyzing process data, supporting system deployment, and ensuring accurate data migration and validation. The position plays a key role in transitioning manual processes into automated workflows, improving efficiency and data-driven decision-making. Training and transition support will be provided by a subject matter expert. Key Responsibilities Process Deployment - Execute assigned implementation tasks and track progress against project timelines - Collaborate with software engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues - Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders Data Analysis - Analyze historical process and production data to identify trends and insights - Support development of statistical limits and performance thresholds (training provided) - Review and improve measurement methods to ensure data accuracy and consistency Data Migration & Validation - Migrate data from legacy systems (e.g., Excel) into standardized formats - Upload and manage data within a SQL database - Validate data accuracy using Excel tools, formulas, and macros - Generate test data and verify system outputs Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Experience working with data analysis, data migration, or process improvement projects - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data validation tools - Experience with SQL or database systems preferred Required Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently while managing project timelines - Effective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and validation Work Environment - Project-based, contract role supporting a technical implementation initiative - Collaborative environment with cross-functional teams - Opportunity to work on automation and data-driven process improvements #MSPTECH Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Work Location: In person
