Role description
TITLE: Data Analyst LOCATION: Remote, available for partial or all PST hours PAY: Target pay for this role is around $60/hr and varies based on relevant experience & skills ENGAGEMENT TYPE: W-2 Contract (with benefits available at 32+ hours a week) DURATION: 3-6 months with option to extend and/or convert - starting out with roughly 25 hours a week with the goal of moving to 40 hours if needed. Can be flexible on hours available to dedicate to this. WHAT YOUโ€™LL BE DOING? โ€ข We are looking for a Data Analyst who thrives on collaboration and can translate business questions into actionable insights. This role is about listening to stakeholders, understanding what they really need, and shaping data solutions that drive better decisions. While Power BI skills are important, success in this role will come from working closely with people across the organization to clarify needs, build trust, and deliver meaningful results. โ€ข Partner with business stakeholders across departments (Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, etc.) to uncover their true reporting and analysis needs. โ€ข Translate business questions into clear data requirements and build easy-to-use dashboards and reports in Power BI. โ€ข Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure clean, reliable data pipelines support your reporting needs. โ€ข Share insights in clear, non-technical language, focusing on โ€œwhat it meansโ€ rather than โ€œhow it works.โ€ WHO WEโ€™RE LOOKING FOR? โ€ข Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to connect with non-technical stakeholders and build trust as an empathetic listener โ€ข Proven experience facilitating conversations with business teams & stakeholders to define goals, metrics, and success criteria โ€ข 2+ years of experience with Power BI (building dashboards, modeling data, using DAX) and running SQL queries to explore and validate data โ€ข Familiarity with working in partnership with technical teams (Data Engineers, IT) โ€ข Clear & effective verbal and written communication skills โ€ข Experience working in healthcare is ideal but not required โ€ข Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment - we do not sponsor work visas โ€ข Please NO Third Party Applicants About Our Client โ€ข Our client is a growing, well established company with an excellent reputation across the globe.
