Role description
Our tech client's Home Appliance Product Support team is seeking a motivated, entry-level Analyst to support product quality, reporting, and technical troubleshooting initiatives. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who enjoys analyzing data, solving problems, and working with both technical teams and physical products. The position offers exposure to reporting, product testing, quality tracking, and operational analysis within the Home Appliance Division.
This individual will join a fast-paced team supporting refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other home appliance products. Team members are cross trained across several functions and will have opportunities to develop specialized expertise based on their strengths and interests.
Responsibilities
• Analyze service, warranty, repair, quality, and parts usage data to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Assist with product quality tracking and issue management.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause investigations related to home appliance products.
• Test and evaluate home appliance units, including basic assembly/disassembly activities when needed.
• Work closely with technicians, engineers, and product support teams to resolve escalated customer issues.
• Monitor and organize operational data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in training programs to develop technical knowledge of Samsung home appliance products.
• Support various Product Support projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Required:
• Bachelor's degree completed within the last 0-3 years within Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies and technical concepts quickly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Nice to haves:
• Experience analyzing data through coursework, internships, research projects, or prior work experience.
• Interest in consumer electronics or home appliance products.
• Familiarity with reporting, statistics, or data visualization tools.
• Hands-on technical aptitude and mechanical curiosity.
Compensation:
$15-$17hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
