Data Analyst (contract)

Responsibilities: • Collect, analyze, validate, cleanse, and report on data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability • Design, code, test, debug, and document ETL processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures • Extract and analyze data from various sources including relational databases, manual files, and external websites • Respond promptly and accurately to data inquiries from various departments and teams within the organization • Create and publish regularly scheduled reports as well as ad hoc reports based on business needs • Document reporting requirements, processes, and methodologies to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer • Validate data components and perform quality assurance checks to maintain data integrity • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions Skills: • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Strong knowledge of relational databases and database management systems • Proficiency with query tools and/or statistical software packages • Advanced SQL programming skills for complex queries and stored procedures • ETL process design and implementation capabilities • Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail • Strong organizational and time management abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Problem-solving aptitude and critical thinking capabilities • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Qualifications: • Proven experience working with relational databases in a professional environment • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and ETL development • Background in creating and maintaining documentation for technical processes This is an exceptional opportunity to join an organization where your analytical expertise will directly impact business outcomes and strategic direction.
