Data Analyst II – Master Data & Governance (Requisition 1654) Location: Hybrid – Roseville, MN (preferred) or Colorado Onsite Tuesday–Thursday (Roseville: CenterPointe Office) Schedule Full-Time | Standard Business Hours About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst II to support master data setup and governance within SAP. This role is critical to ensuring accurate backend data alignment for projects and assets, supporting accounting integrity, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance. You will act as a key resource responsible for reviewing, validating, and maintaining master data flowing from internal systems into SAP, with a strong focus on data quality, traceability, and process consistency. Key Responsibilities Master Data & SAP Processing • Set up and maintain master data within SAP (ECC) • Review and validate incoming data from internal tools (MDO / SAP FICO tool) • Ensure proper alignment with accounting principles and governance standards • Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and related project data • Perform manual data entry and backend validation across systems Data Quality & Governance • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all data entries • Identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicates, or missing data • Run and validate SAP mapping files on a recurring basis • Support audit, compliance, and financial governance processes Reporting & Template Maintenance • Create and maintain forecast templates for projects • Update reporting structures and remove outdated/internal orders (IOs) • Maintain data integrity for downstream financial reporting Collaboration & Support • Partner with Finance, Business Operations, and Data Governance teams • Participate in daily team touchpoints and monthly finance review meetings • Support documentation, reporting, and ad hoc data-related tasks • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives What a Typical Day Looks Like • Reviewing and processing master data requests • Entering and validating data within SAP systems • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies • Maintaining templates and ensuring data accuracy • Participating in team syncs and governance discussions Required Qualifications • 5–7 years of experience in: • Master data management • Data entry, validation, or backend data processing • Hands-on experience with SAP (ECC preferred) • Strong understanding of: • Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) • Data governance and financial data alignment • High attention to detail and accuracy • Proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools • Ability to manage recurring deadlines and structured workflows Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or related field • Experience in utilities or regulated environments • Familiarity with: • Internal Orders (IOs) • Forecasting templates • Financial reporting processes • Exposure to audit, compliance, or regulatory requirements Core Competencies • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy • Analytical thinking and problem-solving • Process-driven mindset with focus on data quality • Clear communication and collaboration skills • Ownership and accountability Team & Environment You will work closely with the hiring manager and a small, collaborative team, including experienced resources available for knowledge sharing. Ramp-Up Expectations • Week 1: Systems access, tools, and process training • Month 1: Independently handling master data setup and validation • Ongoing: Contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives Interview Process • Rolling resume review • 1–2 rounds of virtual interviews (Microsoft Teams) • Panel of 2–3 interviewers Additional Notes • This role is highly detail-oriented and primarily computer-based • No direct people management or vendor interaction required • Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Roseville, MN (if local) Pay Rate Range 43 - 58 USD hourly
