Quality Systems Platform Developer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented individual to support our Quality Systems platform through the development of visualization and in-house solutions, specifically with Pipeline Pilot. The ideal candidate will have a strong mindset in business insights with a development to enable integration of current solutions into S/4 and Google Cloud. This role requires knowledge of industry-standard applications and database theory to optimize workflow and data processing, delivering data efficiently to the shop floor.
Responsibilities
• Provide technical expertise in a small team format to understand, design, and deliver a maintainable data pipeline.
• Focus on the project scope involving Pipeline Pilot and SpotFire, requiring skills in SpotFire, Google BigQuery, and Pipeline Pilot.
• Build and deploy datasets based on user requirements for visualization and reporting across multiple visualization platforms, ensuring quality and relational integrity.
• Provide a clear lineage of data used within visualizations, along with documentation and organization.
• Support the team with DevOps knowledge to build a solid deployment infrastructure.
• Assist in building sprint schedules, assigning, and completing support tickets and bug trackers.
• Develop data visualizations and drive reporting solutions based on feedback from engineers, IT developers, and end-users.
• Work with managers, regional automation, or process engineers depending on the site.
Essential Skills
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Life Science, Quality Systems, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience building production solutions with Bovia Pipeline Pilot, including component authoring, protocol design, and web services.
• 3 years of experience with TIBCO Spotfire or PowerBi, including Google BigQuery, Iron Python scripting, data functions, Information Links, and Automation Services.
• Domain knowledge in data process automation, scheduling, and data architecture using SQL, Python, R, SAS, or other common languages.
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills, persuasiveness, and ability to communicate complex analytical approaches to all levels of business leadership.
• Experience in managing and communicating complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to accomplish project goals within expected timelines.
• ETL experience with different ranges of technology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Knowledge of Denodo/Data virtualization experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable on deployment process flow concepts.
• Strong initiative and results orientation, with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Demonstrated ability to see differing perspectives and work cross-functionally.
• History of meeting tight deadlines and providing accurate estimates of time required to complete complex tasks.
• Demonstrated innovative solutions and self-led discoveries of new technologies.
Work Environment
This is a remote position, requiring work five days a week
