Data Analyst – Data Integration & Analytics Company: BrezQ Inc. Location: Midvale, Utah (Onsite – 5 Days/Week) Employment Type: Contract About BrezQ BrezQ is a technology services company focused on delivering scalable digital solutions, data-driven insights, and enterprise transformation initiatives for clients across multiple industries. We are expanding our data capabilities and seeking a Data Analyst who can help build reliable, high-quality data assets that support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong SQL and data integration expertise to support enterprise data initiatives. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technology teams to analyze source systems, define requirements, validate data quality, and enable trusted reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with complex datasets, and experienced in translating business requirements into practical data solutions. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements from stakeholders. • Analyze source systems and data structures to support integration and reporting initiatives. • Create and maintain data mapping, transformation logic, metadata, and lineage documentation. • Perform data profiling, reconciliation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency. • Develop SQL-based data quality checks and validation processes. • Build automated reporting and data verification processes using SQL and Python. • Partner with technical teams to support data warehouse, operational reporting, and analytics projects. • Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions. • Collaborate with business users to ensure delivered data solutions meet operational requirements. • Support continuous improvement of data governance, quality, and documentation standards. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Integration, Business Intelligence, or related roles. • Advanced SQL skills with experience in complex queries, data profiling, validation, and troubleshooting. • Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or data quality processes. • Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts. • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, dbt, or cloud-based analytics environments. • Exposure to GCP-based data solutions. • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and enterprise data architecture. • Experience supporting regulatory, operational, or financial reporting initiatives. • Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics or process automation tools.
