Job Title:- Data Analyst Location:- Remote USA Job Description • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and ETL processes to extract, transform, and analyze large banking datasets. • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to provide actionable insights on business performance, customer behavior, and operational metrics. • Analyze retail banking, commercial banking, lending, deposits, payments, and transaction data to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, risk teams, finance, and operations to gather reporting requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data. • Create automated reporting solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual reporting efforts. • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making, regulatory reporting, and executive management requests. • Utilized Generative AI tools to enhance data analysis, SQL query optimization, report generation, and documentation, improving productivity and decision-making. • Work with large relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL to support enterprise reporting and analytics. • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement data-driven solutions. • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations summarizing analytical findings and business recommendations. Required Skills • Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, query optimization). • Hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, dashboard development). • Experience developing interactive dashboards using Tableau. • Knowledge of banking products, financial transactions, customer analytics, and regulatory reporting. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
