Data Analyst

Position Overview We are seeking a Data Analyst I to join a fast-paced retail grocery business team supporting specialty food categories such as dairy, specialty cheese, fresh pasta, dips, and charcuterie. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about data, business insights, and the food industry, and who thrives in a collaborative, high-visibility environment. The analyst will be responsible for supporting reporting, data analysis, and business decision-making processes while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and vendors. Key Responsibilities • Perform data analysis and generate insights to support business decisions across specialty grocery categories • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentation decks for leadership and cross-functional teams • Support vendor meetings through data preparation, reporting, and insights • Translate data into clear business narratives and actionable recommendations • Assist in identifying trends, prioritization opportunities, and process improvements • Collaborate with internal teams on ongoing reporting and operational initiatives Required Qualifications (Top Skills) • Strong business acumen with foundational data analysis skills • Ability to build clear, structured presentations and storytelling decks • Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret business metrics Experience: • 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related field Nice to Have • Ability to quickly learn internal tools and systems • Interest or background in retail, grocery, food, or consumer goods industries • Strong communication skills and comfort working in cross-functional environments
